Star Wars NJO: Destiny’s Way
by Walter Jon Williams

Not the longest of the hard covers nor the shortest it is somewhere in the middle of the road. And that’s where Destiny’s way stays all around. The plot is good and keeps you guessing as to what’s next. As the 14th installment in the NJO series it dose a good job of keeping the plot going and at keeping the tension going even if things do seem to be on the up swing for the republic. 41/2 out of 5 stars

Moon Gate
By William Proctor

Sounding rather not like the newest of congressional scandals this book in truth is one of the best I’ve read this year. It’s believable enough that I could see a lot of what happens as a headline on CNN or the New York Times. This book has got it all political intrigue, spiritual dimension, even a hardy dose of science fiction. With an ending that leaves you with a “what that’s it I want more” reaction. I give Moon Gate the ever rare 5 out of 5 stars
